The following young professionals comprise the 2006 ArchVoices Essay Competition planning committee.


Jody Beck is a doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a participant in the 2005 ArchVoices Leadership Retreat.



Elizabeth Donoff is senior editor of Architectural Lighting magazine in New York. She is co-chair of the 2006 competition and a member of the ArchVoices Board of Directors.



Steven Feast, RAIA is a graduate architect with Hodge & Collard Architects in Perth, Australia. He was a semifinalist in the 2005 ArchVoices Essay Competition.



R. Todd Gabbard is an assistant professor of architecture at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. He has served on the competition committee since its inception in 2003.



Tom Hussey is a licensed architect in California and an MArch candidate at the Harvard School of Design. He was a semifinalist in the 2003 ArchVoices Essay Competition and served as a member of the 2004 and 2005 competition committees.


Amy Isenburg is a site delivery specialist with Sprint, based in St. Louis. She was a participant in the 2005 ArchVoices Leadership Retreat.



Beth Lundell is an architect with Rafael Vinoly Architects in New York. She was a participant in Designing Tomorrow's Architect: The 2005 Internship Conference.



Matt Ostanik, AIA is an architect with Walker Architects in Des Moines, Iowa. He is co-chair of the 2006 competition and is a member of the ArchVoices Board of Directors.



Sanjit Roy is a project designer with Development Design Group in Baltimore. He was a semifinalist in the 2005 ArchVoices Essay Competition.



Kathryn Underwood, RAIA is an architect with FORM Architects in Sydney, Australia. She was a semifinalist in the 2005 ArchVoices Essay Competition.



Jess Wendover, Assoc. AIA, LEED is a Rose Architectural Fellow and designer with Urban Ecology in Oakland, California. She served as a member of the 2005 competition jury.



Valeria Wyda is an intern architect with Calloway Johnson Moore & West in Asheville, North Carolina. She was a participant in Designing Tomorrow's Architect: The 2005 Internship Conference.
